Fluke offers courses

To help familiarize customers with the operation and applied use of Fluke and Philips hardware and software, John Fluke Mfg. will offer a series of general technology workshops and product specific training courses in 19 U.S. and Canadian cities.

EIA offers VCR workshops The Electronics Industries Association (EIA) is offering free hands-on workshops for basic VCR servicing.

These week-long workshops are con ducted by EIA-trained instructors. Technicians must be employed in private industry by consumer electronics sales and/or service organizations. Requests must be on company letterhead and mailed to Product Services, EIA/CEG, 2001 Eye St. N.W., Washington, DC 20006.

Approximately 100 delegates from across the United States, Europe and Japan are expected to attend the meeting, hosted by the Electronics Industries Association (EIA).
