![]() Design: A five year program of intensive research into every aspect of sound reproduction in the home environment I-as resulted in a speaker system utilizing: -- A systems approach to the driver/enclosure/room interfaces which allows for flat power response and flat early arrival response in your listening room -- A unique curved baffle which frees the speaker from the audible effects of diffraction. -- A separate, yet integral bass enclosure which pro vides the deep bass and dynamic capabilities of a sub-woofer, yet has no imaging or placement problems. Construction: Hand-picked oak and walnut veneers--Dipped silvered mica capacitors--Extensive cross-bracing of the special high density particle board resulting in resonance-free performance- The best of engineering precision and traditional craftsmanship all combine to produce a loudspeaker which is a technical and aesthetic masterpiece. Quality Control: All drivers are individually tested to assure performance within the tightest of tolerances. Six components within each crossover are fine tuned in order to guarantee the accuracy of the entire system. As the final step, each speaker is subjected to a series of measurements and critical listening tests. Performance: The Type A offers a practicality lacking in the exotic pretenders to the state of the art, yet provides performance beyond the reach of any other loudspeaker.
